Koh Samui is Thailand’s second largest island and once had the most coconut trees in the country. Given this huge amount, the majority of Samui residents was able to produce various high-quality products made from coconut. The story of the flourishing coconut island had run for a century; coconut had become an economic crop of Samui, and as the same time, being the island symbol.
